The depth of their musical partnership (since 2015) is palpable in their live performance. Kunkel switches between classical and electric guitars\, enhancing the timbral soundscape\, while Kopchak expands the sonic possibilities using various electronic effects\, giving his bass a vocal and emotional quality that is always tasty and never “too much.”\nBoth are seasoned composers in jazz and other genres\, affording them an extensive book of original material as well as the occasional interesting interpretation of others’ works. \nRounding out the duo will be Mike LaRocco on Drums and Percussion.

A former paratrooper with the elite 82nd Airborne Division\, KJ has spent decades blending musical excellence with service\, leadership\, and performance. Together\, KJ and Amelia have collaborated on recordings\, Christmas concerts\, and live pop-rock performances including appearances at Newburgh Brewery. Amelia also performs with Rock Voices Hudson Valley\, directed by KJ.
